| The Council Room.
The stout Zeleniyan diplomat rises to his podium again,"Again you misdirect the point, you killed just under a million innocent people of our great capital city, we have proof of this! And your cowardly acts of violence without an official war statement violate this council's rules set on warfare! Further more, do you actually believe us to be so uncreative as to create a 3rd party terror group--of our own people and language? This is obviously some hoax or prank. Think nothing of it."

The Imperial ambassador would follow the Zeleniyan in turn and speak towards the UCFP delegate.
"I'm am sure the same could be said about the Helkion species. Maybe you should liberate them from your own genocidal grips. They are a race that is almost completely extinct at this point, thanks to "will" that was imposed on their people."

Another retort: "There had been no 'will' imposed on the Helkions. Their religion and scriptures had taught them that there was no coexisting with humanity. Should they have been allowed to stay a military power, the genocide of humanity would be ten times worse. We do not want another Alarei, do we? The conflict on Flottille has led to the downfall of the First Aeonic Union, the actions of the Helkions have brought this punishment upon themselves. The same case goes for Zeleniy."

| Armistice Station, New Terran Embassy
The Major had little problem gaining entrance to the New Terran embassy and he was swiftly lead through the various corridors of the compound to what initially seemed like a humble office but would turn out to be quite overbearing in its interior extravagance.
After being lead into the office adjutants of both sides would be dismissed and the door would be rapidly shut behind them allowing the two men to speak in relative privacy and without disruption.
"Greetings Mr. Yeung." Koppe began, "It's always a pleasure to speak with our fellow Terrans of the Red Sun, you no doubt already know my name so I'm sure we can skip the initial pleasantries."
He started back towards his desk which reflected it's owner quite well, it was sleek, gilded with gold, and extremely obnoxious. He became distracted and changed his path to a small table hidden away in one of the offices far corners and seemingly invisible as a result of the rooms clutter.
"I happen to have in my possession some of the most exquisite wine siphoned from the finest grapes picked straight from my family's vineyards on Panormus, care for a drink?" he held up the bottle so Yeung could see, seemingly ignorant of the Red Sun's anti-alcohol customs, and on it's label was the symbol of House Koppe; a silver goose presenting it's wings.
Council Room
The New Terran delegation had returned to it's 'silent treatment' approach to diplomatic interaction on Armistice. Not without reason, they were reluctant to support the Zeleniyans even though they now held mutual opponents in the USC and mutual allies in the RSI mainly due to a historical bias towards the Zeleniyans as a result of them being deemed 'politically unfavorable' in the past but also to prevent needless provocation to the UCFP and USC.
Similar circumstances applied to supporting the UCFP, it would alienate a potential ally in both the RSI and SRoZ and since the UCFP were deemed untrustworthy anyway due to their close relations with the USC the risk couldn't be justified with any sort of tangible reward and obviously the New Terrans couldn't call for greater respect of 'sentient rights' as part of a sort of neutrality without looking extremely hypocritical themselves.
So instead they went back to their age-old ancestral strategy of realpolitik.

| Armistice Station, New Terran Embassy
Major Yeung would be shocked at the grandeur of the officers working quarters as he would look around the gilded work space. The Imperium officer had a very simple office, with only the necessities inside of it. It wasn't as extravagant as this, but it probably had the same exact efficiency. The officer didn't understand the need for such decoration.
He stood rather stiff in the center of the office with his hands folded behind his back, and he would carefully watch the New Terran officer for a moment as he retrieved the bottle. Despite the Imperium's negative views on things such as alcohol, the Major did not want to be rude and start off on the wrong foot with the ambassador.
"I'll take just a small amount, thank you."
The Imperial officer would take the glass and take a small sip before speaking again.
"If you do not mind, or find it rude, I'd like to talk about why I came here. As long as the USC is the only one to retain a warship outside of this station, they will continue efforts to control the security and inflow of new species from entering. With a small task force by both New Terrans and the Imperium, I feel as though we could significantly increase our influence aboard the station, alongside reducing the USC's capability to bully other nations."
Council Room
The Imperial ambassador would raise his eyebrows in surprise.
Punishment ambassador? The UCFP is not the police of the galaxy, nor do they hold the power to breach the sovereignty of a nation to "punish" them."

The Zeleniyan diplomat nods respectfully towards the Imperial ambassador,"The UCFP would do well to end this illegal war immediately and pay reparations to the families of the innocents you've killed!"

Nodding as if to say 'of course' he smiled along, paying attention to the mans proposition when it came time for his response he paused to make his way back to his seat. With a brief hand motion he offered his guest a seat before he began speaking.
"Well, that's quite a request." he took a sip from his glass, it was quite a sweet vintage, "I'll of course have to contact my superiors for something like this, this is the type of thing you should've relayed directly back home but nonetheless I'm certain I could put in a word on your behalf pertaining to the security issues over in this part of the Galaxy."
He paused to take another small sip from his glass before continuing,
"How big of a task force did you have in mind exactly and how do you plan to deal with the USC if they respond to this obvious provocation?"

| In the midst of political rambling, the Familiar ambassador remained utterly apathetic to the ongoing back-and-forth. | |

The Imperial officer would leave his barely touched glass to the desk as he would take a seat. His posture would be upright and proper, and he would stare the Terran Security officer directly in the eyes as he would speak.
"The Imperium has a cruiser and a destroyer they are willing to send to this sector, and while that may be enough to stand against the USC, I want total and complete dominance over them. Especially in an area so important as here. Any ships you could spare would be appreciated."
Yeung then lean back and take a very small sip from his glass, following the New Terran soldier's lead.
"The USC wouldn't dare to attack Imperium or New Terran ships in neutral space, especially when we aren't at war with them. They have a ship here, so why shouldn't we?"
The Major would smile slyly.

| Council Chamber
"Now now, gentlemen, let us not descend into flinging insults around and making unreasonable demands."
The Coalition's ambassador, who had remained silent for what seemed to be hours, grasped the chance to speak as soon as the Zeleniyan diplomat had ended with his demand. With the New Terrans giving everyone the silent treatment and the Imperium zealously defending the Socialist Republics, an unsurprising event, someone had to back the CFP. And who better to do that than the USC: the CFP was not its ally, officially, but the USC had repeatedly stated that it sided with it in the Zaa'Nabar conflict, and any conflict against the Zeleniyans. The decision to not reinforce that statement with actions, such as the delivery of soldiers or arms to Zaa'Nabar, had been made purely for the sake of not provoking the Zeleniyans further.
"As a leading member of the free world, the United Systems Coalition has many times stated its complete support of the Zaa'Nabarian freedom movement. The conflict on Zaa'Nabar is not just one strategic importance, but a morally outrageous one, and it saddens me and my people greatly to watch the rightful inhabitants of the planet suffer under the atrocious conditions the Socialist Republics have forced them in. For years, this Council has completely ignored the situation, giving the Zeleniyans free reign to terrorize the population of Zaa'Nabar while stealing their cultural artifacts and committing an ethnic cleansing of criminal proportions. And now, when the tide has finally turned to favor the just, and the brave men of the CFP advance on the doorstep of the Zeleniyans, now we are supposed to step in?"
After a brief appeal to emotion, and a few moments of pause for the people present in the room to consider what has been said, the ambassador continued. "The Coalition refuses to support any motion of trying the Federation for these alleged 'crimes', and furthermore supports the motion to examine the criminal actions the Socialist Republics have performed on Zaa'Nabar and against its native people. Perhaps 'punish' is not the right word here, but if such a fact-finding survey is obstructed by the Republics, the Coalition will have to seriously consider the possibility of putting trade sanctions in place."
"To answer the calls in favor of allowing this alien race, which has not presented us with any reason to trust them other than an eye-catching ship name and 'promises' of peace and rainbows, the law fully permits us to take all necessary precautions to ensure that a biological weapon or other contagion is not unleashed on this station, willingly or unwillingly. This is our intercept, and we have already discussed the issue with the New Terran security chief in private, and he found no error in our reasoning and legality: if you have anything legally relevant to add to this conversation, we are all ears."

| Red Sun Imperium Embassy
Messages would be sent to both ambassadors of the Socialists Republic and the Commonwealth of New Terra in light of the recent release of the treaty between the USC and the UCFP. The message would request ambassadors to meet at a later time in private.
Council Room
The Imperium Ambassador would speak directly to the USC delegate.
"You're statement reeks of hypocrisy. You do not own this station ambassador, and to bully nations that have shown nothing but peaceful intentions to every other nation aboard this station, is childish. You are the only one they have attacked, and it was because you began military operations against a small mining operation owned by their nation. You have no excuses."
