History:

The origin of Odessa is unknown, to believe it comes from a higher power is against the goodness of the state and so is banned. What most do believe is that they are there now, and must work together for the common good of all sentient races, of all planets for mutual benefaction.

Five years prior to the events of today, Odessa was invaded and successfully occupied by a far more advanced neighboring civilization, that of Kal'Bavakor. After a few devestating skirmishes, the Grand Sovjet Council wrote up a treaty of surrender, and the treaty was signed at the Palace of Brest-Tov. Ten miles from the capital of Rigapolis, formally known as Czarkovskiya, both these places used to belong to the royal family, before they were overthrown by the peasants in the Great Emancipation, and killed by peasants.

With mutual co-operation between invader and invaded, both races work together for each other, The Kals provide the technology and supplies to keep Odessa strong, and to build their unparalleled range and strength of mechanized armour and mobile suits. Coupled with the new experimental shock troops. In return, Odessa submits to their laws, pays taxes to their government and allows free trade amongst the two races. They have a representative on the Kals home planet, who stands for the Odessians in their Parliament.

Military Specifications:

During the time of war, there is mass conscription where huge masses of peasants are thrown at the enemy to weaken them, then the armour is sent in as support in conjunction with shock troops.

Military Composition:

Around 50 Million active personnel, can rally around 1.5 Billion in time of war through conscription.

this needs to be greatly expanded upon. from the history, how these people  came to be, what language they speak, if they're still mostly human (assuming they are??)
