Kharaki System Kharkia Capitas Canatrax
In the glorious empire lies its jewel, Kharkia. The planet is lush and its possibilities seemingly limitless. The centre of that jewel is the commanding urban sprawl; Capitas Canatrax. High above the city lies a space station and a relevant scaffold. The station is armed and sees all ships through to the planets surface, freighters and small time detection vessels accommodate the large marble that is Kharkia. The planet's urban mega-metropolises are all easily viewable from space. Being constructed from template, the cities appear as large white dots on the deep green and snowy landscapes that inhabit the planet. As with most space faring nations, trade comes and goes, with drones delivering goods across planets. Unmanned FTL freighters run tirelessly to ship goods over the planet, exchanging goods from the Kajob to the Nakar homeworld. Down on the service of Kharkia, high up in one of Capitas Canatrax's high towers of marble, the Nakar High Council discusses matters.
Declamatorious sat at the round table, squashed in were 26 males, and 2 females. Each took a turn at the table, but the council was lucky if there were 4 statements per meeting. Prince Corrax, resource manager was the first to speak.
"Marble, the sacred resource of city building, is becoming more and more difficult to source. While this is but... a minor obstacle, you know that the tolls of the Imperial Civil War, and the Colonial Wars have pumped up our military to have much unneeded chaff. Long gone are the days where we could whimsically pump fifty thousand spad's down on the planet, and care not for the casualties. We must begin to transfer, and attempt to educate the soldiers."
High General Banion spoke up at this statement."Do you realise how long that would take? To program a Nakar memory chip takes years, to culture the machine to sing in tune with the brain, do you know how much it requires to then destroy that song? Soldiers become dependant on their machine chips for their rudimentary tasks when they retire, such as farming, plumbing and maintenance work. Some soldiers' brains even invest their emotional data into their datachips."
As the general spoke, a Magharan clicked and clacked his claws, equipping himself with a translator. "Krrratratrat. Can we get some food in here?" The general looks at the Magharan and waves his hand to the guards in the circular room, two depart to the imperial kitchens. The guards re-enter with servants carrying gold trays of cooked food. Declamatorious grabs a plumpet (game bird) leg, ripping into it with his teeth as he listens to the general continue. The general bites into an exotic purple fruit, splashing his mouth and face with fruit juice that dribbles off his chin.
"As I was saying, mm, the brain can become reliant on the chip, to take that away would, mm, cause permanent damage."The general went on "You could attempt to add new patterns into our, uhm, lesser soldiers. With more room for expansion, but we have to keep the soldiers on the ground, for if we lay them off, we could be facing a rebellion of nakar that cannot turn off their killer instincts. At least, not for the moment."
A zarakian fluttered its wings and emitted stinks from its nostrels, Declamatorious sighed "Zoolzax, the translater."Declamatorious' translater he was wearing to communicate with the creature started to emit its own puffs and stinks, to which the nakar representatives laughed. The zarakian, Zoolzax, took out a metal object from the table and clipped it into his nostrils, as he puffed, the nakar language was synthesised.
<:: "Is this working? You need to tell me if this is working, I am curious."
"Yes," said the General and Declamatorious, Admiral Thratkor nodded aswell "Speak zarakian, enlighten us to your ideas, for that is why you are here, yes?"
Zoolzax puffed and his machine ticked and began to spit out words."Whilst the nakar in this room both argue over two things you fail to see what you are most effective at. The lack of raw materials, and the lack of ways to source them are the same problem. A problem, which can, in turn be solved by the problem of excess nakarpower. You should send your excess soldiers out for mining operations on the fringes of the empire, if you cannot control their killer instincts, you shoulder have to in abandoned systems. They are likely to follow their order subroutine, as we have seen in the colonial wars, they can endure the harshest of conditions also. Send the soldiers out in the A.I. freighters, and then we shall get out minerals."
General Banion nodded, then clapped "Very good zarakian, scribe!"At his words a zarakian flew in on its wings. Banion addressed it."I need all of that written in a signable bill to pass the basic legislature."The zarakian nodded and wrote it down, then flew out sharply.
Declamatorious raised his hands "While the contributions are noted, gentlenakar, we must proceed with caution. The galaxy as we know it as recently suffered fallout from a brutal war. Our historians establish this was around the same time our homeworlds came under fire from human exterminationists, and the age old Alarei threat."
Banion guffawed at this statement. "Heh, the Alarei, what a bunch of turn-tale dogs."
Declamatorious continued "While we may feel that now is the time to recover samples of our ages old empire on star systems afar, we may not know who lays claim to them. Don't mistake me however for someone that will belay the interests of the empire, I am merely saying, we must use the karrotex before we use the blade. We must see how diplomacy goes with other nations, which is why we must invite all of those viable for diplomacy."
Admiral Thratkor spoke up "And what of the Systems Republic of Kal'Bavakor, and that blue-faced whore queen of an admiral?"
Declamatorious looked over "What of them?"
"Many still remember the losses of the men aboard the Erekelties, the Alkanor and the Redactum, and the loss of Admiral Targannuk."
Declamatorious sighed."Their crimes are unforgivable, and to assume I was talking about those blue beings in such a way compromises my severity when I discuss the matter of the nation of Kal'Bavakor. If, that is ever. News on their empire shows decline, if, and I mean if, we find them; they must answer for their crimes. Bloodshed or no bloodshed, that fateful day, how many years ago was it, they fired first. Our engines and weapons were primitive then, today they are not."
Thraktor nodded "I am happy to see that we are clear on the matter, Declamatorious, now, onto other matters, Phalrillion, you have the table."
Phalrillion, Spymaster and Nobleman leaned forward onto the table, wresting his spiked elbows onto the woodwork, eating a meaty hogs head."General, Admiral, Declamatorious, representatives. Its an honor to join the council on this day."
"Please Phalrillion, we're all friends here, there are no opportunists in these quarters." said Declamatorious "Speak freely, and without formality."
Phalrillion continued"Traffic in the outer reaches has reached key limits, our allies of old, the Tal-Nagarians, have established somewhere far from here, but their criminals are already spreading through every backwater space station from here to Gargant Lajeeb."Declamatorious nodded at this statement "I see." Pharillion went on further "Not only that, but as you may know, a human faction has contacted us. I have asked around as to what their intentions are, and the name of the Kal'Bavakorians -did- crop up. However, my fellows, before we jump to conclusions of butchery in the night and the snuffling of their young, they -do- appear to be a pragmatic nation. From what we can discern they served in this war, in some way or another, like most of central space. The rest of the galaxy aches from painful conflict, this -is- exploitable in the foreseeable future. The only foreign factions we know of that didn't get thrown into this war are the Tal-Nagarians and the Saphrithids. Declamatorious scoffs"The money hounds. They disgust me, and their anatomy, and their smell. They're intoxicatingly vile. However, they are useful, and they are still somewhere on our grand declaration, somewhere."
Phalrillion continues"While I think that they are a possible friend, they are too close to our home system, and as a spy master, whilst we can easily slip onto their systems, they can do the same to ours, the war of Paranoia showed this, plus, I'd put a fair amount of raw gold on it that the Nagarians also despise the Saphrithids and their extortionate ways."
Declamatorious nods"So we find a way to harness their economic power? What? What are you intentions Phalrillion?"
Phalrillion smirks"Not quite that Declamatorious. I would not be a good spy master if I didn't hold my plans close to my heart, no?"
Declamatorious nods"For now, that will be all, however I want embassies set up for our friends in the nearby area, and a response for that empire that so fondly sent us an invitation to their system, we should invite their delegates to a feast in our chambers. I would like to see kindness rewarded in this empire.
Ambassadorial staff requested to land on planet Kharkia, to be accommodated in full, and to join Declamatorious at the royal banquet, where game and whatever your heart desires to be synthesised will be created.
Staff as follows : Tal-Nagari Autocracy, Solar Trade Conferacy, The Network, The Second Empire

Kharaki System Kharkia Capitas Canatrax Victory Square
Nakar royal halberd guards, donned in ancient power armour and marching with their blades were between the people and Declamatorius, making the exiting speech for Kratatum, the bands played loudly for the soldiers marching in parade, overhead jets laid smoke trails, in every sects faction colours. Confetti and black rose petals rain from the sky as screams fill the plaza, people rushing to see the guards pass, throwing flora at their feet as they stand, chin up, looking proudly at the sky as the clouds gather on a mainly overcast day, reflecting the grey off the dirty marble city streets. Declamatorius, his generals and news cameramen were pointed at him on a platform, 4 metres in height made of marble, behind the platform exists statues of other great Nakar leaders. ++ “My loved ones. My blood. My Sects. Today, we take our imperial assets, amongst the stars. Our beloved Vanadaxiat Omega Kratatum has volunteered for this great task that one man should not have to shoulder alone. He is assisted by our loving satrapies, the Magharans send their hardest worker, Snapclaw, the Zarakians, their most enthusiastic, Kojkrok, and the Drathori support us with their vast knowledge in the form of Blanctushar. What we are achieving today nobody thought was possible, the ability to defend our nation from threats that have existed in the centuries in the years before our fathers, a calling to a galactic summit will require us to come face-to-face with possible foes, still remaining alive from thousands of years before. This summit will allow us to seek lucrative trade, friendship and knowledge across the universe, allowing us to not just extend our borders, but our cultural impact to a galactic forum, not just our own society. It is a day to be proud of our great empire, and proud be to one of its citizens! HARA MANDAXUM!” ++ The crowds cheer and repeat the alien salute in their own voices replying and raising their fists in the air.
"Are you sure you’re ready? Check your equipment." "I have my clothes, my belongings. My sealed moss, and my radiation meds."
Karakum looked out of the dropship window, this thing wasn't exactly a luxury liner, he sat in the craft and strapped himself in. He felt a sharp tug as the dropship took off into space, the two pilots in the front seat laughed as the sound of the dropship burning through the atmosphere was ringing in Karakums ears. Down below the people cheered as the black blip flew into the skyline, disappearing into the clouds, and then its jet sounds became distant, then unheard of, the people dispersed and went back to their daily work, or relaxation shifts.

Kharaki System Kharkia Capitas Canatrax
On the edge of Nakar space, a flash is emitted, followed by a green burst of light to show off a Nagarian jump signature of a small ship, a radio signal is then sent to Kharkia. ++ Attention Nakar Home world Kharkia, I am transporting Ambassador Grandum Salaney on request of your government along with his delegacy. Request permission and guidance to land, over.++ The Nagarians on the ship eagerly await a reply and escort and their ship flies toward the planet of Kharkia, preparing to enter its atmosphere on the given directive of the planets rulers. Onboard the Tal-Nagarian ship, the Nagarian diplomat looked out of the ship's window. “They really did pick a good one didn’t they, look at the size of that marble! I would presume that one is the capital.” He points to the obviously largest visible part of greyish white that would resemble a city from space the way it affects the landscape, that is, if it wasn’t covered by clouds. The well trained pilot crew would do well to navigate through any asteroids or space-junk that may have been in orbit, as they marvel at the sites of the system around them.

// Play both.
As the diplomatic ship begins its descent into the atmosphere of Kharkia, 30 fighter craft of the planet, painted in the gold coat of arms pull up beside the vessel. They create a v formation, with the diplomatic vessel at the front. Where the vessel turns, the fighters also turn. Over the radio would be heard.
<:: Errskader rat mah gurt//.. “Declamatorious wishes to welcome you back, and wishes you find a pleasant home on our planet, we’ll take you all the way in over the capital.”
Whilst listening to the response the pilot captain would wait a while then signal the diplomacy vessel.
<:: “Throttle back over this square and look left, outside the window of your vessel.”
20,000 battle suits on parade would raise an arm to the air, in salute to the ship, the 20ft mechs would look surely impressive on the marble background. The gates of the great councils chambers open to reveal a military welcome march as the diplomats venture arrive down. The fighters escorting them over the capital would stream the colours of the Nakar, but also, brown, the colour they associated with Tal-Nagarians.
Towers of shining white across the cities lit in artificial flame as citizens flocked to the streets to see what was going on. In-front of the grand imperial palace, vendors sold black roses and bread for throwing at the visitors. Palace guards lined the streets to make sure no civilians got rowdy at the visitors, their pikes outlining the streets. The citywide televisions begin to cast the diplomatic crafts landing as it lands down onto the city. The citywide communication speaker system also crackles to life.
<:: “Today, is a great day! What was once thought lost, has become anew. Old friends have not abandoned us, and now we have a chance to make amends. For whilst in years gone past we have always strived to look out for ourselves, we had lost site of what was important. Those who helped us in our times of need, those who smote the Alarei from our skies during the war, those who paid with the blood of their crewmen on planets and shared our blood on foreign soil. Those who bled and earned their right to be worthy of adversarial status in the following wars, have appealed to reason and followed us into this new age!
The future for our people is bright, for the torch of the survival of our kind from humans, alarei and dangerous foes amongst the stars is no longer our torch to hold alone. For when the night is at its darkest the Tal-Nagarians, led by Tal the Great, has shown us the dawn! He has shown us the dawn! So shower these diplomats in your roses and shower them with your gifts, for they are here to help us, and alike we shall not fail them again. Glory to the Nagarian, glory to the Nakar, glory to this pact of friendship!"
// Play this too.
As his speech ends fireworks explode in the afternoon sky and as the craft opens. Boxes and boxes of exotic birds and let lose over the capital. Horns sound into the air over the roar of civilian cheering. A blue carpet is rolled towards the palace for them.

After the great reception ends, the diplomatic procession is led to the podium to address the Nakar people. Grandum Saleny, in the most formal of apparel and cautious step walks to the centre of the procession and adopts a strong stance at the speaking desk with both hands palms down. On either side of him are two honour guard at the stance of attention. In view of millions of people Grandum takes a timely inhale and a swift exhale before he began his speech.
"This day marks an amendment. A shattered pane now mended by friendship. We, the Nagarian race and our honourable ruler Tal the great, wish the Nakar people prosperity and internal glory for their courage. Great wonders and grand structures such Capitas Centrax and monuments as tall of fleets do not go unnoticed. You, the people, continue to amaze the entire galaxy with your powerful empire. Our two nations have been at odds and have been at peace, and we as a race know which was better. To fix something as delicate as an alliance is never easy, but with prudence we can bring back days of grace and usher an entire age of glory for our people.
Over the many years of our existence, we have all learned that alone we risk many things to get the things we need. Now, together we risk less ; for the things want. Your great council leader, Declamatorious, has shown himself to be wise and audacious and we commend him.
The Nakar people have shown me and all of whom I speak for that this great empire is destined for even higher existences of greatness.
To meet new people in this galaxy is finding salt in the sea, finding friends is like separating sugar from sand. May the Nakar and Nagarians face all obstacles together, that we may be faithful in adversity, strong in times of peril and triumphant in victory. "

Kharaki System Orbit over Kharkia
Over the atmosphere of the Kharaki system, a bright light shines and in warps a sizeable amount of vessels under the Heritage of Salvanar. Their flagship was ornate with gold, flanked by its other heavy ships and led by its tough frigates, it loomed threateningly and majestically over the Kharaki System...
King Grantoch, Connect of the Salvanar was aboard the flagship, Kings Toast. Such confidence would only serve as a purpose to show that the Heritage were no longer merely talking in the council chambers. He took off his white silk gloves, symbolically in-front of his knights and peers.
It was then single voice of reckoning then rang out.
